Air Conditioning - How Does It Work
To understand how air conditioning and refrigeration works, we need to understand the concept of heat flow. Air conditioning and refrigeration equipment does not make cold air as such, but more accurately, it removes the heat from the air. If the heat is removed, what is left? Cold air! The main elements used to carry out heat transfer in common refrigeration systems are a compressor, a condenser, an expansion device and an evaporator.
